Native for Apple Silicon

Run Android & Linux on your Mac. Let AI operate them.

moochi boots a real Android phone, tablet, or Linux desktop natively on Apple Silicon — in about a second. A built-in AI agent operates it for you, or take the mouse and keyboard yourself.

Capabilities

A real machine, engineered for your Mac.

Not a cloud stream, not an emulator. moochi runs the whole thing locally, natively, and fast.

Your own hypervisor, not an emulator

Built directly on Apple's Hypervisor.framework with an in-house VMM and a full virtio device stack. No Google emulator, no third-party runtime.

One-second snapshot boot

moochi skips the entire boot sequence and restores from a snapshot. In about a second you're in a live guest with the browser already open.

Native, fluid display

virtio-gpu scans out straight into an IOSurface and onto a CAMetalLayer — in-process and zero-copy, no round trip through the browser. Smooth at 60fps and beyond.

Direct mouse & keyboard

Grab the controls and drive the guest yourself. virtio-input injects every click and keystroke with no perceptible lag.

A built-in AI agent

Describe what you want in plain language. The agent sees the screen, decides, and acts — screenshot, reason, inject input, repeat. Computer-use, on your machine.

Android and Linux guests

Android phone, Android tablet, Debian 13, Ubuntu 26.04. Pick a scenario from the welcome screen and launch it with a single click.

One click

Launch in a click.

Pick a scenario — Android phone, tablet, or a Linux desktop — and moochi has it running before you finish reading this sentence. VM management on the left, chat on the right.

Just describe it

Tell the agent. Watch it work.

Say what you need in plain language. The agent reads the screen, plans the steps, and drives the guest — you watch it happen in real time, and step in whenever you like.

Real guests

Real Android. Real Linux.

A genuine Android system and a full Linux desktop with a real browser — not screenshots, not a remote stream. Both run locally on your Apple Silicon Mac.

Under the hood

Engineered from the metal up.

Every layer is our own — the virtual machine monitor, the device model, the snapshot engine, the display pipeline. That's what makes one-second boots and native-fluid graphics possible, and what lets moochi ship on the Mac App Store.

01

Self-built VMM on Hypervisor.framework

A Rust virtual machine monitor driving Apple's hypervisor directly — no QEMU in the product, no Google emulator, no bundled runtime.

02

Snapshot + post-copy restore

A versioned state file plus a memory file, faulted in on demand — the Firecracker-style path that hits the one-second target.

03

virtio everywhere

GPU, input, networking, block and sound over a clean virtio stack. User-mode networking, and quitting leaves zero processes behind.

04

Graphics: Venus → MoltenVK → Metal

A Venus virtio-gpu device gives the guest a real Vulkan GPU, bridged to the host through MoltenVK onto Metal — a genuine GPU-virtualization stack, built to keep the snapshot path cold.

05

Built-from-source guest images

An AOSP-based Android image with no GMS, and lean Linux desktops — all built from source, all self-signed. Nothing proprietary sneaks in.

Built to belong on the Mac

Made for the Mac App Store, from day one.

Every binary is our own — self-signed and notarized. Nothing is downloaded and executed at runtime. State lives in a sandbox-friendly container path, and quitting leaves nothing running behind.

Self-signed & notarized
No runtime code download
User-mode networking
Zero leftover processes
Coming to the Mac App Store

A whole computer inside your Mac.

A native app for Apple Silicon. Android and Linux, an AI that operates them, and a one-second start. One-time purchase, no accounts.
